These batteries do not need to be refilled, can be tilted, and can be stored and installed in any normally ven- tilated living area. The voltages of the individual batteries are therefore added together, e.g., to 24, 36, or 48 volts. However, the capacity of the batteries remains unchanged in this case. Always start your season, your trip, or your journey with a pre-charged battery. Recharge your battery after every trip or outing. Never store it uncharged. For safety reasons, disconnect the positive terminal before planned extended periods of inactivity. Please note that a lead-acid battery has up to 15% self-discharge per month. Hermetically sealed AGM and GEL batteries only have 3-4% and lithium (LiFePO4) batteries only 2-3%. The service life of a battery is also closely linked to the number of charge cycles it can achieve. LiFePO4 batteries come out on top in all these criteria. Please note: Self-discharge and charge cycles are temperature-dependent and measured at approx. 20°C. Insufficiently charged or unpowered consumers, especially in the milliamp range, can cause total damage to your batteries. Avoid using your battery in the engine compartment, as a battery will accept little to no charge at temperatures above approx. 50°C. The use of a suitable and appropriate charger is also essential. Battery chargers with IU characteristic curve 13.8 to 15 volts, recommended charging power 10 to max. 15 amps. Fast charging is possible as long as the battery temperature remains below 50°C. The grid is made of pure lead, which ensures good storage stability. Service life 1200 charging cycles at 80% discharge. All models are equipped with standard terminals and additional threaded studs with nuts.
