Its robust construc- tion from high-strength aluminum alloy and rigorous collision testing ensure high reliability and improved shock resistance. Its energy recovery function charges the batteries while sailing and can generate up to 1400 W at speeds of 4 knots or more. The external pod drive saves space normally required for diesel engines and tanks, allowing for additional storage space or larger cabins. Thanks to its modular design, installation is easy and future upgrades are straightforward. With integrated connectivity, NMEA 2000 compatibility, and smart controls, the Pod Drive 12 eSSA offers a user-friendly solution for new installations and retrofits. Intelligent and user-friendly control sys- tem The HMI system, Smart Throttle, and Smart Display 5" offer intuitive fingertip control and comprehensive information at the helm.
