The area directly in front of your boat is particularly useful, but you can also direct the transmitter beam in any other direction. As the transmission beam scans a smaller area with the sector setting, you also benefit from a higher image refresh rate. The MEGA 360° Imaging gives you a crystal clear 360° panoramic view under your boat. Discover structure, bottom and fish 40 meters in every direction around your boat, including forward, so you can spot good fishing spots before you cross them. Whether you are trolling or standing still, you have a complete view. Thanks to the further development to MEGA Imaging, you are now in the megahertz range and can see even more details. HOW MEGA 360° IMAGINGWORKS The 360° transducer works like a radar device. Imagine a thin sonar wall that extends underwater 40m to the left and right of the boat. This wall rotates and creates a circle with a diameter of 80m. Everything within this circle is transmitted as an echo in real time and displayed on the screen. Now you are not only aware of what is behind and to the side of your boat, but also in front of it, before the fish even realize that you are there. Uniquely ingenious and only from Humminbird! Fascinating photorealistic images of the boat's sur- roundings, even when stationary! SIX ROTATION SPEEDS to make you more flexible on the water, 6 different ro- tation speeds of the transmission beam are available. A slower rotation speed results in a higher resolution but a slower image refresh rate.
